KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Create compelling brand connections with shoppers at the point of purchase – Make brand campaigns larger than life at the point of purchase by amplifying the single minded campaign proposition. Leverage relevant, multiple touch-points at the point of purchase such that the brand engages and wins with target shoppers.
This will necessitate:
Powerful Activations – Work in sync with brand teams & agencies to create powerful activation platforms. Use innovative approaches to increase brand salience amongst target shoppers. Engage and captivate these shoppers and compel them to try our brands. Use differentiated inputs and scale basis campaign importance to brand objectives.

Best-in-class trade visibility – Develop differentiated POSM by channel that is clutter-breaking and gives a synergistic ‘look & feel’ to a campaign. Develop a high quality PMU (semi/ permanent merchandising units) menu that brings alive brand imagery at the POP. Develop and execute customized visibility solutions – a POP vision(e.g. Guardian Pharmacy) - that add value to customers across trade channels. Develop and roll out relevant, Plano-grams for impactful shelf visibility.

Consumer Promotions – Develop format/ brand strategy with differentiated inputs across strong & developing accounts and secure agreement by sharing the same with internal stakeholders. Create a pool of articles that haveunique appeal, connote value and are synergistic with brand imagery & campaign cues. Evaluate and share trackers for key promotions.
. Create brand strategies to win with trade customers – Identify and leverage key business drivers that will increase brand availability & stock depth, while accelerating shelf offtake. This includes:
Trade marketing strategy – Develop a TM strategy with differentiated inputs by channel and market. Share and execute activities as planned in the annual TM calendar.
Channel development – Identify opportunities to drive brand growth at the ‘Top, Middle & Bottom of the Pyramid’
Interface with the channel experts to formulate brand strategy by channel and support with adequate investments.
. Control and efficiently deploy budgets for brand building activities in trade – Monitor and share rolling FC on all trade spend pools (TM, crayon, captain, POP, activation etc). Operate within planned budgets and judiciouslyinvest in activities to drive brand growth.
Deliver a perfect punch on brand initiatives – Classify initiatives basis Star launch framework. Develop an annualinitiative calendar; share & secure stakeholder agreement. Circulate PP trackers for all key initiatives and ensure they meet/ exceed PP scores.

Experience - An MBA from a reputed B-school with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in Sales/ Marketing, preferably in an FMCG-MNC. Prior experience in a similar role/ profile is preferred.

3. Managing the critical sourcing of Plastic promotional items at 32 depots in the country, balancing risk & innovation to ensure delivery of value on promotions.

b. Requirement is non repetitive and needs to be executed RFT and speed – conceptualization, development to delivery in 4 months.
c. Sound judgement and empowerment required for making strategic/tactical balance work. Represent Procurement in Health Drinks EBTs and drive project activities and deliverables without the need for regular upward reference to higher purchasing levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direction Setting:
1.
Leads & drives translation of procurement objectives into sourcing group objectives for the category in order to ensure that sourcing group tasks & aims are articulated, understood & accepted by the team and the business.
Implement of sourcing strategies for OTIF (On Time, In Full) supply of materials within agreed budgets.
2. Understands & interprets the overall business direction & objectives and develops & aligns plans for the category to enable their achievement.
3. Develops plans and systems & processes to optimize the utilisation of resources for the category in order to successfully achieve business objectives.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:

Qualification & Experience

An Engineering Graduate (preferably with a Polymer engineering background) and preferably with a Post Graduate qualification in Management.
2-3 years experience in Plastics Packaging Material development, procurement and supply chain.

Knowledge
Knowledge of Budgeting & Forecasting process

Knowledge of categories and understanding of price movements and cost drivers.
Understanding of the Polymer industry (both raw material manufacturing and conversion)
Knowledge of Sourcing Group objectives & deliverables for Procurement.

· To liaison with the set-ups of company's supply chain for efficient stock replenishment.
. To supervise and control the Northern Region C&Fs, Regional office logistics staff (direct reportees) for efficient inventory management, ensuring optimum service levels to northern region customers and to other type of customers.

Complexity:

· Functioning in an environment where Real time information is not available in the supply chain.
· Dependence on technology is high and risk of its failure is not mitigated
· real time communication with internal customers (e.g. field force) may not be possible at all times by virtue of their field job
· Geographical complexities in the areas of statutory rules & regulations and communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Facilitates the process of Forecasting done at the area level as per requirement for a smooth inventory flow to meet the supply chain objectives of the organisation.
§ Ensure ageing of stock is maintained as per norms to avoid wastage of inventory at depots (wastage through SDRs).
§ Ensure MIS has been reviewed on a periodical basis to avoid crisis on the business front. Also ensure MIS has been submitted to the superiors in order to facilitate them to take the decision.
§ Controls on C&F functioning for smoother flow of invoicing in order to achieve smooth business flow.
§ Ensures stock replenishment in right quantity, at the right time and the right place to achieve customer satisfaction.
§ To be responsible for planning, budgeting and managing the supply chain of sales reporting formats and other stationary requirements to ensure timely availability to the field force and adherence to company's norms and procedures.
§ Ensure transport, C&F contracts are renewed in time in order to maintain smooth functioning of the depot to achieve better distribution.
§ Ensure Quality norms are maintained at all C&F depots, in order to achieve better quality of our products reaching customer place.
§ Ensure team members are motivated, as well as open feedbacks given to them in time on rectifying their mistakes, in order to get better output from them.
§ Ensure retail universe data received from the field force collated and presented to respective people.
§ Ensure statutory requirements of warehouse in order to meet the smooth business operations.
§ Plan and participate in the 3>1 budgeting process in the region
§ Ensure that adequate internal checks and control procedures exist and that the same are being followed
§ Replenish the stationary to the field force to ensure that no problem in faced while using laid down procedures and formats by the field force
§ Is responsible for Asset Management for North which includes Fixed Assets as well as IT Assets in the region.
