JOB PURPOSE:

1. To drive and manage NPDs/ line extension projects.

2. To work with the brand team to evolve sales volume, revenue, market share and profit objectives for Nutritional Health Category/Over the Counter brands including variants cumulatively and individually.


DIMENSIONS OF THIS ROLE:


1. Innovation on Nutritional Health Category(NHC)/Over The Counter(OTC) products
2. Understand the categories, liaise with the extended brand teams and Brand managers to achieve planned objectives
3. Drive the identification of NPD ideas, management of NPD/ extensions within the existing regulatory environmentEvaluate opportunities for inorganic growth viz. acquisitions/ in-licensing opportunities


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identify and secure agreement of key stakeholders on line extensions/ inorganic opportunities under each NHC/OTC brand
2. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on sales and consumption forecast for the identified extensions/ inorganic opportunities and monitor accuracy
3. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on the effort priorities and entry strategy to help achieve financial targets.
4. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on compelling communication to build equity.
5. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on consumer promotion activities to generate trials and reward loyalty to help extend and build a strong consumer base.
6. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on the media plans
7. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on medical marketing activities to drive equity in medical fraternity where needed
8. Work the market to gauge effectiveness and efficiency of marketing programs.
9. Evaluate and track extension performance against budget and communicate to key stake holders the progress
10. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on new POS development and channel development drives with sales
11. Develop and secure agreement of key stakeholders on high quality creative output for NPDs through active participation with and supervision of advertising & research agencies.

JOB PURPOSE:

1. Ensure that all the new products under Nutritional Health Category(NHC) are launched successfully.

2. Deployment of quality systems at the design stage for all new projects/ new product introductions. Smooth technical transfer of product through close working with R&D, CSS, Marketing and Sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accountable for successful technical transfer for new products under NHC category from R&D to GMS sites.
2. Ensure that manufacturing, analytical and related systems and processes at new sites are fit for the purpose and capable of consistent and reliable delivery of the products.
3. Contribute to the new product development processes by ensuring that all quality issues / risks are clearly evaluated and articulated.
4. Implement QMS at new third party site.
5. The jobholder provides support to site teams conducts validation of equipment, processes and systems for all new product introductions
6. Provide technical support on manufacturing and packing activities in the form of process support and documentation for all new product introductions.
7. Provide training to personnel at sites on various quality facets of new products.
8. Ensure specification and process control is established, understood, and maintained at site
9. Manage the Change Management System across site ensuring all technical changes likely to affect product quality are documented and communicated.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:

Graduate in Food / Dairy Technology with a minimum of 5 years experience in Quality/Production function with atleast 3 years should have been at management level. Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Business Processes & Quality Management Systems. Should have good communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills. Experience of working in Projects will be an added advantage.

- Overall responsibility for Retail Audit, Consumer Panel and Advtg Tracking to enable market monitoring metrics and execution insights to propel growth of our brands
